Abstract:

In this paper I will determine all of the JS - maximal soluble subgroups of the groups (GL) (18; pk), (GL) (20; pk), and (GL) (21; pk). It turns out that the number of types of the JS - maximal soluble subgroups in the groups (GL) (18; pk), (GL) (20; pk), and (GL) (21; pk) are 21, 20 and 10 respectively. Furthermore, we find the structure of these subgroups.

Abstract:

IN THIS PAPER, WE STUDY THE COMPLEX GINZBURG-LANDAU EQUATION IN TWO SPATIAL DIMENSIONS WITH PERIODICAL BOUNDARY CONDITIONS WITH ALTERNATING DIRECTION IMPLICIT COMPACT FINITE DIFFERENCE SCHEME. THE PROPOSED METHOD HAS FOURTH-ORDER ACCURACY IN SPACE AND SECOND-ORDER ACCURACY IN TIME. THE RESULTS OF NUMERICAL EXPERIMENTS ARE PRESENTED, AND ARE COMPARED WITH ANALYTICAL SOLUTIONS AND OTHER METHODS TO CONFIRM THE ACCURACY AND EFFICIENCY OF THE PRESENTED METHOD.

Abstract:

Introduction: Carney COMPLEX is an autosomal dominant syndrome that is defined with different tumors including myxoma in different organs, endocrine tumors and lentiginosis lesions. This is the first case report of this syndrome from Iran.Case: The patient is a 27 year old girl, referred with flank pain. Physical examination revealed hirsutism, truncal obesity, hyperpigmantasion and hypertension; Cushing's syndrome was suggested and confirmed with related classic biochemical tests. She had history of cardiac myxoma during her childhood and had been operated twice.Pituitary microadenoma and right adrenal adenoma were reported on MRI and CT-scan, respectively. Initially laparascopic right adrenalectomy was done; as expected, no remission in signs of Cushing's syndrome was observed after surgery. By laparoscopic adrenalectomy of the other site, Cushing's syndrome resolved. Pathologic report of 1st operation was adrenal adenoma with surrounding pigmented micronodular hyperplasia and of the 2nd one was just pigmented micronodular hyperplasia. Conclusion: We have reported a patient with Carney syndrome along with Cushing's syndrome due to bilateral adrenal hyperplasia and an adenoma in contralateral adrenal and microadenoma of the pituitary as an incidentaloma. This is a new presentation of Carney syndrome.

Abstract:

In this paper, we consider a D-dimensional fractional Schrodinger EQUATION with a Coulomb potential. By using the associated Laguerre and Jacobi EQUATIONs, we obtain the wave function and energy spectrum and this then enable us to separate this EQUATION in terms of the radial and angular momentum parts respectively. Also, the associated Laguerre and Jacobi EQUATIONs makes it possible to further factorize the D-dimensional fractional Schrodinger EQUATION such that the resulting EQUATIONs can be expressed in terms of the first order operators which are basically raising and lowering operators.

Abstract:

While the Discrete Exterior Calculus (DEC) discretization of the diffusive term of the Transport EQUATION is well understood, the DEC discretization of the convective term, as well as its stabilization, is an ongoing area of research. In this paper, we propose a local discretization for this term based on DEC and geometric arguments, considering the particle velocity field prescribed at the vertices of the primal mesh. This formulation is similar to that of the Finite Element Method with linear interpolation functions (FEML) and can be stabilized using known stabilization techniques, such as Artificial Diffusion. Using this feature, numerical tests are carried out on simple stationary and transient problems with domains discretized with coarse and fine simplicial meshes to show numerical convergence.

Abstract:

In the present paper, hybrid differential transform and finite difference method (HDTFD) is applied to solve 2D transient nonlinear straight annular fin EQUATION. For the case of linear heat transfer the results are verified with analytical solution. The effect of different parameters on in temperature distribution is investigated. Effect of time interval of differential transform on the stability of results has been examined. Results show the excellent capability of HDTFD to solve different engineering problems and also indicate that appropriate selection of differential transform time interval can solve the divergence problem of the method and lead to reduction in computational costs.

Abstract:

INTEGRABLE EQUATIONS CAN DESCRIBE CERTAIN PHYSICAL WAVE SYSTEMS AT THE LOWEST ORDER OF APPROXIMATION. THESE EQUATIONS CAN SUPPORT SOLITON SOLUTIONS WHICH TRAVEL WITHOUT CHANGE OF SHAPE.WHEN PERTURBATIONS ARE BROUGHT INTO CONSIDERATION, A PHYSICAL SYS-TEM IS THEN MODELED BY A PERTURBED INTEGRABLE EQUATION. IN A PERTURBED SYSTEM, ENERGY RADIATION CAN BE EXCITED WHICH CAN AFFECT THE SOLITONS EVOLUTION IN NONTRIVIAL WAYS. IN ORDER TO DESCRIBE SOLITON EVOLUTION UNDER PERTURBATIONS, A SOLITON PERTURBATION THEORY IS REQUIRED.

Abstract:

Let G=Res F=Q ((GL)n) where F is a number field. Let SG K¦ denote an adelic locally symmetric space for some level structure K¦: Let Mm; C be an algebraic irreducible representation of G (R) and we let f Mm; C denote the associated sheaf on SG K¦: The aim of this paper is to classify the data (F; n; m) for which cuspidal cohomology of G with m -coefficients, denoted H* cusp (SG K¦; Mm; C), is nonzero for some K¦: We prove nonvan-ishing of cuspidal cohomology when F is a totally real field or a totally imaginary quadratic extension of a totally real field, and also for a general number field but when m is a parallel weight.

Abstract:

A LOCAL COLLOCATION METHOD BASED ON GAUSSIAN RADIAL BASIS FUNCTION IS DEVELOPED FOR SOLUTION OF STEADY STATE TWO DIMENSIONAL CONVECTION- DIFFUSION EQUATION. CONSEQUENTLY THE ARISING SYSTEM IS SPARSE, WHICH IS AN EFFORT TO REDUCE THE CONDITION NUMBER OF THE SYSTEM AND TO OVERCOME THE ILL- CONDITIONING. THIS APPROACH IS SUITABLE FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS IN HIGH DIMENSIONAL TOO.

Abstract:

MATRIX COMPLEX MODIFIED KORTEWEG-DE VRIES EQUATION IS AN INTEGRABLE EQUATION, THUS IT IS SOLVABLE WITH INVERSE SCATTRING TRANSFORM (IST) METHOD. HERE IN THIS PAPER, USING THE LAX PAIR, THE RECURSIVE RELATION FOR THE CONSERVATION LAWS IS FOUND. SOME OF THE FIRST CONSERVED QUANTITIES ARE EXPLICITELY DETERMINED. THE PROCEDURE HAS BEEN SUCCESFULLY APLLIED TO CONSTRUCT THE CONSERVED QUANTITIES FOR THE NORMAL NONLINEAR SCHRODINGER EQUATION, BUT THE RESULTS FOR MATRIX VERSIONS HAVE NOT BEEN REPORTED IN LITERATURE.
